6 Central Banks Act to Buy Time in Europe Crisis

In washington the Federal Reserve and other major banks that moved on Wednesday to help the foreign banks borrow more money easily.  This is supposed to help Europe have more time to struggle with their debts.  In the latest round they have decided to make interventions with banks to let the existing FED program let foreign banks borrow money at really low interest rates.  Which will most likely keep the debt in Europe growing.  I personally do not think that this is going to help any, if anything this is going to make everyone in more debt than they already are.

Lines Grow Long for Free School Meals, Thanks to Economy

   With the economy becoming worse the challenge for many americans is becoming diffucult to be able to afford their own kids lunches at school.  Millions of american children are already receiving free or low reduced cost meals.  Many middle class americans have lost their jobs recently which makes it harder to pay for their child meals.  Two years ago the average number of students that were receiving free or low reduced meals was about 18 millions and then last year the average number or students that were receiving this rose to 21 million students, which is an 17%  percent increase.  Eleven states, have had huge increases in children receiving free or low reduce costs meals including Florida, Nevada, New Jersey and Tennessee, which in four-year increases of 25 percent or more.  With more and more middle class people losing their jobs im sure the number of students receiving this will increase by alot.

Governors Ask U.S. to Ease Rules on Marijuana

  The governors from Washington and Rhode Island petitioned a law to the federal government on Wednesday to try and readjust the marijuana as a drug with accepted medical uses.  They said the change is needed in some states like theirs.  These two states have decriminalized marijuana for medical purposes.  As of now their is only 16 states that allowed the medical use of marijuana which are trying to distribute the grow to the other states.  As of now marijuana is now currently a schedule 1 controlled substance.  In a schedule 1 is also the same category that heroin and LSD are found in.  Many states are not very approving of this because such drugs have a very high rate for being abused.  They are trying to move Marijuana to be classified as a schedule 2 drug instead of a schedule 1 drug.  In a schedule 2 drug is the same category as an cocaine and morphine.  This has been a debate for many years and im sure that it will not be settled anytime soon.

Central Banks Take Joint Action to Ease Debt Crisis

     On wednesday the Federal Reserve moved forward along with other major banks by increasing the american dollar outside of the United States.  The banks have announced that they will be lowering the cost by half to the existing programs which he banks in foreign country borrow money from.  These banks have also stated that they will be giving out loan until February in 2013 extending the cutoff of August 2013.  “The purpose of these actions is to ease strains in financial markets and thereby mitigate the effects of such strains on the supply of credit to households and businesses and so help foster economic activity,” stated in the article of the New York Times. After announcing this the stock market have soared some reports on this are that the S&p has gone up about 3.4% and the DAX have being up 5 percent.  So far this is looking good for the banks and the stock market.

Cain's Candidacy Splits Pizza Scores

    Hermain Cain a runner in the campaign for the Republican's, was the former owner of the pizza place called Godfather's Pizza.  He has not been the CEO for this company for over 15 years but his association with this brand has came up in the media during his running.  Before Mr. Cain announced he was going to run for President Godfathers Pizza was doing good with all three parties.  Since his announcement of running for President the Democrats have lowered extremly while the Republicans have soared and the Independents have remained the same.  With all the allegations comming out about Mr. Cain the Godfathers Pizza is suffering from it.

In Shooting at White House, Attempted Assassination Charge

   Last week at the White House in Washington D.C. a man was charged with trying to assassinate President Obama.  Oscar Ortega-Hernandez, a 21 year old from Idaho Falls told his friends last Thursday that he wanted to kill President Obama according the the complaints filled.  Oscar Ortega-Hernandez is being accused of firing a rifle at the residential floors of the White House were President Obama lives.  Hernandez also feels like that Federal Government is conspiring against him.  Mr. Hernandez was arrested Wednesday around the town Indiana, Pa.  


    They are looking for Mr. Hernandez was has a lot of tattoos, one of them which includes the word Israel on the back of his neck.  Law enforcement have been looking for him since Friday night after the found out a car that was 7 blocks away was linked back to him.  The car is a black honda accord which has an Idaho license plate on it.  Witnesses seen this car speeding away after gun shots were fired by the White House.
